Back from Bodensee

I just got back from Bodensee after a full and surprising calender since December 2016 : extra chorus of I Capuleti e i Montecchi, Freiberg; La Boheme in Genova; a wedding in India; debuting Werther in Crema, Italy; revisiting Rodolfo in Surrey; reacquainting myself with the Duca in Rigoletto in Genova, exploring Carmina Burana in Markdorf (both Baritone and Tenor parts); and playing the Greek, Alfred in Die Fledermaus in Uberlingen.
“Costa Latsos ist ein genialer Spieltenor mit witzigem Akzent, schöner Stimme und einem krachendem Humor, der sich schon im ersten Akt mit seinem Auftritt als Tenor in die Herzen der Zuschauer gesungen hat. Mit seinem wallenden Brusthaar und seinem liebestollen Blick verleiht er der Liebesszene mit Rosalinde die nötige brickelnde Erotik.”
Costa Latsos is a genius singing/acting tenor, with a funny accent, beautiful voice and crashing humor, already in the first act entrance as the tenor, he sung directly in the hearts of the audience. With his flowing, chesthair and his best-looking look, he lends the love scene with Rosalinde with the necessary sparkling eroticism.
I am off to Vienna tomorrow for an audition, then Italy, then back for some more auditions in September.
Additional highlights have been working an Education/Community Project at The Berlin Philharmonie and being invited to perform Mario Lasagna: Be My Love at The Festival of the Aegean on Syros, Greece in July.
I have had some interesting meetings and conversations about new and interesting projects for the second half of the year in which I look forward to immersing myself with.
